A CORRUPT CORPORATION By Lattigo Smith I have a simple hypothetical question for you: Suppose you are a stock-holder in a giant conglomerate, with trillions of dollars in assets, a board of directors, with a chairman, and a CEO, to run the day-to-day operations. Then let us suppose that you stock-holders have tossed trillions of dollars at them to spend to make things better for the public, your employees and show a nice profit for you, the stock-holder. But, supposed the board of directors, the chairman and the CEO have squandered all this money and your corporation is on the verge of bankruptcy; with you on the way to the poor house. WHAT WOULD YOU DO? Well now, being hard-nosed investors, looking forward to income from your investment, you would do the only thing possible to correct the situation: You would clean house and vote in a new board of directors, a new chairman of the board and a new CEO. You would do that, because investors are smarter then those voting for political candidates. The corporation I am talking about is the Federal Government, the president being the CEO, congress being the board of directors, Pelosi in congress. Reed in the senate, being the chairman of each board and you, the voter, being the stockholders. Now then, I ask you: why is it that we keep on re-electing to congress those people that have made a mess of our government driving us into bankruptcy and into the poor house? We must be the dumbest people on the face of the earth. If we are allowing local bureaucrats in the county seat to program the computers to elect who they want to see elected, then we need to clean house at the local level as well as in Washington. If a person will cheat at the vote counting center, then we know that his goal is not the same as our goal, which is honest government. With this in mind, let us vote out ALL incumbents at the local level, because we do not know whom we can trust to give us an honest vote count. Our vote, it seems to this humble, writer is all that we have left and we must use our vote to change things in our favour before it is too late; if it isn’t too late already. Take a look at the information below and see what our problem is at this time. But this is only a small part of the problem, because nobody really knows how much money we owe the rest of the world or how much money we have already promised in programs that cannot be altered without disrupting the entire system. increase an average of We are urged to contact congress about this problem, but congress pays no attention to us as individuals. If we can raise enough of a ruckus to get their attention, then they will back off for a while, but will soon be back with the same program and slip it passed us by slight of hand or by a vote in the middle of the night. We must, if we have any smarts at all, MAKE A CLEAN-SWEEP and sweep them ALL out of office and start over with ALL new people. It can be done, if we will all get behind this movement and let the politicians know that we mean to send them home for good. PLEASE, I urge you; don’t throw up your hands and say it can’t be done until you try. The only thing a politician fears is to be cast out of office, ending his political career, which should not be a career at all. I was involved in party politics for many years, but was double crossed by every politician that I helped getting elected. I worked hard for Ronald Reagan for president, but sat there and watched him turn the White House over to the very enemy that he campaigned against. The media, that only likes traitors and criminals, loved Ronald Reagan and they are still telling us what a great man he was. He premised to get the government off our backs, but actually increased the national debt and the size of government, placing a greater burden upon our backs. This is just one glaring example that I have seen. I worked hard for Barry Goldwater in 1964, helping to organize a state-wide union members for Goldwater. We cooperated with Mr. Harold Butler, founder of the Denny’s restaurant chain, who organized Democrats for Goldwater. We ran full page adds in most of the major newspapers in California. We were supported by Mr. Walter Knott, founder of Knott’s Berry Farm, and many other well known patriots in our state. But, we sat there and watched Goldwater campaign to lose, not win, the election. We saw the Republican leadership sabotage the campaign of every conservative candidate we ran for office, because the party does not want conservatives in office. I now live in Arizona and I watched the party sabotage the candidacy of two good conservatives in the last two elections, turning Republican seats over to liberal Democrats. We had one Republican governor that said she did not want to see any conservatives elected to office in Arizona. So then, one can see why I say we must make a CLEAN-SWEEP and sweep out of office ALL incumbents if we ever hope to make any difference in our political situation. We must put the fear into the hearts of the politicians, that we mean business and we mean to get rid of ALL INCUMBENTS from city hall all the way to Washington; AND WE MUST DO IT NOW, tomorrow may be too late.
